PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light winding core having excellent strength, durability, water resistance and heat resistance and easy to handle and be recycleable at about 100%, and securing chucking. SOLUTION: This winding core 10 is formed of a fiber reinforced hollow structure formed of three layers of a center core 11 made of a thermoplastic resin and having an irregular shape 11a to be engaged with a chucking in the inner peripheral surface thereof, an intermediate layer 12 formed by integrally bonding the reinforcing fiber with a thermosetting resin and for covering the outer periphery of the center core 11, and an outer layer 13 made of a thermoplastic resin and for covering the intermediate layer 12.
