PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe connecting tool for arranging a posteriorly connected pipe connected to a tail part of an already laid pipe and a method for connecting the pipe using the tool, when a conduit line of a midle aperture pipe for protection of a telephone line is laid underground. SOLUTION: This pipe connecting tool for arranging the posteriorly connected pipe K2 connected to the tail part of the already laid pipe K1 when the pipe is laid underground has a jig 1 used commonly for height adjustment and pipe- longitudinal-directional movement for the posteriorly connected pipe K2, and a jig 2 for engaging the laid pipe K1 with the connected pipe K2.
