PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce running cost, to attain facilitation and laborsaving of exchanging maintenance of a cushioning mat and to prevent hanging of the cushioning mat and falling of a hooking metal fixture. SOLUTION: The device for transporting glassware article is constituted by attaching the cushioning mat 2 to an endless carrying means 1 and carrying the heated glassware article 11 by mounting it on the cushioning mat 2. The cushioning mat 2 is formed to a railroad tie shape by wrapping a cushioning material 3 around a reinforcing core material 6 and the cushioning mats 2 formed to the railroad tie shape are arranged on the endless carrying means 1 intermittently in a carrying direction and are attached with freely attaching/ detaching.
