PURPOSE: A planet carrier assembly is provided to simplify the process of manufacturing and assembling to fix a pinion shaft to a planet carrier. CONSTITUTION: A planet carrier assembly includes a planet carrier(1), a pinion shaft(3), and a gap-filling device. The pinion shaft supports a pinion gear(5) revolving with the planet carrier and rotating. The gap-filling device fills the gap of the planet carrier and pinion shaft to fix the pinion shaft to the planet carrier. The gap-filling device is composed of a caulking unit. The planet carrier assembly fills the gap of the pinion shaft and planet carrier with the gap-filling device and fixes the pinion shaft. Therefore, such a process and part as a hole or pin is not required, and the process and assembly of the planet carrier assembly is simply performed. |
