PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vinyl chloride resin composition for wire coating having low toxicity, excellent properties such as electrical insulation and excellent varnish curability. SOLUTION: The vinyl chloride resin composition for wire coating contains 100 pts.wt. of a vinyl chloride resin and 0.001-5 pts.wt. of at least one kind of organic metal compound containing a metal selected from manganese, iron, cobalt, nickel, copper, zirconium and cerium.
