PURPOSE: A starting assistance control method for a diesel engine is provided to smoothly start the diesel engine at very low temperature in winter, and to reduce noxious gas. CONSTITUTION: A starting assistance control method for a diesel engine comprises the steps of: turning on a starting key and cranking a diesel engine(20); shutting off a solenoid valve according to the temperature of coolant for a predetermined time when an engine rpm is less than a set engine rpm(24); and converting into idle state when the engine rpm is more than the set engine rpm(26). |
