<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an induction heating coil capable of increasing the depth of a hardened layer at a corner part in first and second stepped parts of a stepped shaft-like member, and uniforming the depth of the hardened layer formed continuously along a small diameter shaft part, a corner part and a bearing surface part. SOLUTION: A third small diameter shaft part heating conductor 36 which is inclined in a separating direction from a riser part of the small diameter shaft part 3 is disposed on a first small diameter shaft part heating conductor 34 for performing induction heating of the small diameter shaft part 3 of the stepped shaft-like member 2, and the relationshipα<=βis satisfied, whereαis the arc length (circumferential length) of the first stepped heating conductor 39 arranged corresponding to a first stepped part 1a formed on a shaft part of relatively small diameter, andβis the arc length (circumferential length) of a second stepped heating conductor 41 arranged corresponding to a second stepped part 1b formed on a shaft part of relatively large diameter.</p> |
