PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an ink control aggregate in which DSI molding can be facilitated. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing an ink control aggregate having a tank for storing ink at the body section 2 comprises a step for manufacturing a sensor section 5 by integrally molding an electrode 6 for detecting the residual quantity of ink and an electrode supporting section 7, a primary molding step for inserting the integrally molded sensor section 5 into a die 15 and molding integrally with the body section 2 and further molding a cover body 3, and a secondary molding step for sliding the body section 2 molded in the primary molding step within the die and supplying secondary resin to the joining face of the body section 2 and the molded cover body 3 thus joining them.
