PURPOSE: A unit pixel driving controller for improving sensitivity and picture quality of an image sensor is provided to drive unit pixels to maintain a specific amount of charges in a photo-diode so as to improve sensitivity and picture quality of the image sensor and reduce noise. CONSTITUTION: A unit pixel driving controller includes a photo-diode, a transfer transistor for transferring photon to a sensing node in response to the first control signal, a reset transistor for discharging the photon stored in the sensing node in response to the second control signal for detection of the next signal, a drive transistor serving as a source follower, and a select transistor for addressing in response to the third control signal. The controller further includes the first NAND gate(200) for receiving a select signal and a scan signal from an external pad to NAND the signals, the first inverter(201) for inverting the output of the first NAND gate to output it as the third control signal, and the second NAND gate(202) for NANDing a reset signal and the scan signal. The controller also has a delay(203,204) for delaying the output of the second NAND gate and outputting it as the second control signal, a transmission gate(205) for transmitting a transfer signal inputted from the external pad, and a latch(206) for latching the output signal of the transmitter. The controller further has the second inverter(207) for inverting the output of the latch and outputting it as the first control signal, the first transistor(NM6) connected between the output port of the transmission gate and ground, and the second transistor(NM7) connected between the output port of the transmission gate and power supply. |
