摘要 |
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new promoter that permits artificially controlling the stimulation-responsive expression of a plant. SOLUTION: This promoter is a promoter that induces the expression of a gene by high-light stress and/or chloroplast destruction, wherein the promoter contains the sequence at a specific site of a specific base sequence of a gene encoding ELIP2 protein (early light inducible protein) derived from Arabidopsis thaliana. A transformed plant utilizing the above promoter is also provided. The figure illustrates that the amounts of luminescence of luciferin before and after the high-light treatment of a transformant into which ELIP2::LUC construct (white bars) or 35S::LUC construct (black bars) was transduced. |
