<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide waste water treatment equipment which is capable of sufficiently suppressing the production of excess sludge in biological treatment of organic waste water and lessening the energy and labor required for the treatment thereby improving cost effectiveness. SOLUTION: The waste water treatment equipment 10 is constituted by connecting a solid-liquid separation tank 2 to a biological treating vessel 1 to which raw water W is supplied and successively connecting a flocculation basin 3, a hydorextractor 4 and an oxidizing device 6 thereto. The water Wk to be treated which is subjected to anaerobic treatment in the biological treating vessel 1 is subjected to separation of a solid from the liquid in the solid-liquid separation tank 2 and part of sludge S is transferred to the flocculation basin 3. A flocculating agent X is added to the water in the flocculation basin 3 and the flocculated sludge S is subjected to hydoextraction in the hydroextractor 4 so as to attain a moisture content of, for example, about 85%. The hydroextracted sludge S is oxidized and solubilized by ozone-containing gas Go in the oxidizing device 6. The solubilized sludge S is returned tot biological treating vessel 1 and is treated.</p> |
