PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lid housing box of a bathtub which houses the lid of the bathtub so as not to cause an obstruction in taking bath and is attached along the edge of the bathtub. SOLUTION: When considering where in a bathroom is a place having room, one unexpectedly finds the place along the edge of the bathroom and this bathtub lid housing box is a thin type and can be housed along the edge as a place which has sufficient room for installation along the edge and is not obstructive even in a washing place where even the slightest width is wanted.
