PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a float stopper by which the fishing depth regulated according to the depth of the fishing point can be naturally set by only casting the tackle. SOLUTION: A floating body 7a has a hollow structure and the buoyancy sufficient for supporting a suitable sinker 7b of a float 4, and is connected to the suitable sinker 7b by a line 7d. The connection is regulated so that the line 7d may pass through a guide 7c of the suitable sinker 7b and stopped by a stopper 7e so as not to be come off. The suitable sinker 7b is also formed into a hollow shape so as to be slid on a shaft 7f penetrating the hollow part. The lower end of the shaft 7f has a receiving seat 7h for allowing the suitable sinker 7b to sit thereon, fixed to the shaft 7f, and a ring 7g installed therein. The receiving seat 7h has a hole 7i for allowing a fishline 1 to be penetrated, at the side surface of the receiving seat 7h. The upper end of the shaft 7f has a snap 7j to which the float 4 is connected. The fishline can be locked or unlocked by nipping or releasing the fishline by the suitable sinker 7b and the receiving seat 7h.
