PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for detecting illegality in medal game equipment capable of preventing illegality in the state of suppressing the damage of medals due to illegality by detecting the illegality at the part of the medal feeding port of a game machine surely at a low cost. SOLUTION: An impact sensor 15 is fitted to the medal exit path 5f3 of medals fed into the game machine 5. When a time in which feeding of the medals cannot be detected by the sensor 15 exceeds a set time, an illegality detection circuit 2 judges such a state as to be illegal or not to use a game.
