PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water purifier in which capacity of a filter medium inside a cartridge can be exhibited satisfactorily by making water flow through the filter medium more uniformly in a compact structure while the fluidized state of granular activated carbon is regulated. SOLUTION: This water purifying cartridge is provided with a easing 9, granular activated carbon 16 which is housed in the casing 9 and the fluidized state of the carbon 16 is regulated by fibrous activated carbon 21, 31 used commonly as a rough-filtration filter, a cylindrical body 10 disposed in the easing 9 and a hollow fiber filtration membrane 34 which is arranged in the body 10 and disposed on the downstream side of the activated carbon 21, 31 and 16 in the flow direction of raw water.
