PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide atmospheric pressure floatation thickening equipment which is capable of sufficiently enhancing the coagulation power of polluted particles without being affected by the kinds of the sludge to be treated and a flocculating agent to be added and is capable of suppressing the degradation in the recovery rate of the polluted particles. SOLUTION: This atmospheric pressure floatation thickening equipment 10 has a mixer 2 which mixes the flocculating agent and air bubbles by a surfactant with a treating liquid containing the polluted particles in the sludge, floatation equipment 5 which performs the floatation separation of the polluted particles included in the treating liquid, piping 4 which connects the mixer 2 and the floatation equipment 5 and a magnetic field imparter 11 which imparts magnetic fields to the polluted particles on the outside of the floatation equipment 5.
