PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a DNA chip by using a codon-scanning algorithm, capable of avoiding an error generated in the analysis of a result caused by a base pair mismatch found out in a DNA probe designed by a conventional algorithm, discriminating a homozygous mutation from a heterozygous mutation, detecting and identifying a mutation causing various genetic diseases by a rapid and accurate means, and also capable of being applied to a diagnosis related to all genetic mutations and confirmation of the mutation such as SNP (Single Nucleotide Polymorphism) SOLUTION: A method for preparing an oligonucleotide designed so as to detect mutations presenting in a total searched codon zone decided by the codon- scanning algorithm, the method for preparing the DNA chip by using a probe prepared by the above method, and DNA chip prepared by the above latter method and the method for detecting the mutations by using the above DNA chip are provided. |
