PURPOSE:To obtain a full color image having high saturation, excellent color reproducibility and the like by a method wherein a mixture of specified anthraquinone-based dye, polymethine dye and yellow dye is employed as magenta dye in dye bearing layer. CONSTITUTION:The heat transfer sheet concerned consists of base material sheet and dye bearing layer, which is placed on one side of the base material sheet. Magenta dye in the dye bearing layer is made of mixture of at least one kind of anthraquinone-based dyes expressed by the formulae I-II, at least one kind of polymethine dye expressed by the formula III and at least one kind of yellow dye expressed by the formulae IV-VI. In formulae I and II, X and Y represent-S-,-O-,-SO-, while R1 and R2 represent substituted and non- substituted alkyl group, cycloalkyl group, aryl group and allyl group. Further, in the formula III, R5 and R6 represent substituted and non-substituted alkyl group, R7 represents substituted and non-substituted aryl group and aromatic heterocyclic group, R8 represents substituted and non-substituted alkyl group and cycoalkyl group and R9 and R10 in NR9 R10 represent substituted and non- substituted alkyl carbonyl group and aryl carbonyl group. |
