PURPOSE: A method for reproducing a voice file in VMS is provided to reproduce a scenario voice at the side of client, thereby reducing the bandwidth and load of a network and reproducing the voice with high quality. CONSTITUTION: When dialing a transmitter side telephone to a telephone number of a receiver side telephone(S100), a transmitter side gateway finds the corresponding telephone number and identifies the state of the receiver side telephone(S200). When a user can not answer the telephone(S300), a work is operated at the receiver side VMS(Voice Mail Service) system(S400). When the system receives a reproducing command, the corresponding scenario file stored to the system is reproduced(S500). If the user wants to store a message, the voice is stored to RDKM(Raid Disk Module) of DPM(Data Processing Module) of the VMS system.
