PURPOSE: A method is provided to remove deteriorated sludge which is produced when absorbing and recycling crude light oil(BTX) in coke oven gas in the chemical conversion process in an iron mill using an absorbent oil generated during the coal carbonization. CONSTITUTION: In a method for removing deteriorated sludge in an absorbent oil which is circulated to absorb crude light oil distillate in a light oil recovery equipment(1), the method for removing the deteriorated sludge from the absorbent oil comprises the steps of storing the absorbent oil in an absorbent oil storage tank(2); and maintaining a temperature of the absorbent oil to a temperature of 20 to 25 deg.C by supplying the absorbent oil stored in the storage tank(2) into a refrigerator(3), wherein a heat transfer rate between the absorbent oil and the refrigerator(3) is maintained to 20 to 25 BTU/h(British thermal units per hour). |
