发明名称 METHOD FOR SETTING QUANTIZATION LEVEL IN BINARY POLAR CODE DECODING
摘要 Disclosed is a method for setting a quantization level in binary polar code decoding. The disclosed method comprises the steps of: (a) estimating a noise level through channel estimation; (b) calculating, based on the estimated noise level, a probability that a received code word is determined to be a specific polar code value, wherein the probability is a function of a quantization level boundary value to be calculated; (c) calculating, based on the probability that the received code word is determined to be the specific polar code value, a probability that an i^th bit in n^th decoding is determined to be a specific polar code value; (d) calculating an error rate by using the probability that the i^th bit in the n^th decoding is determined to be the specific polar code value; and (e) calculating the quantization level boundary value for minimization of the error rate; wherein the quantization level boundary value includes a zero level. According to the disclosed method, provided are advantages in which decoding performance in binary polar code can be improved and a quantization level can be non-uniformly and efficiently set.
