PURPOSE: Structure of a vehicle hood is provided to reduce the injury on a walker in a secondary collision and to restrain the breakage of a vehicle by using springs. CONSTITUTION: A striker(40) is installed on the front lower end of an inner panel(20). When a shock is applied to a hood, an outer panel(10) is bent by a hinge(30) installed between the outer panel and the inner panel. Shock sensing levers(50) are installed on both lower ends of the outer panel. One side of a first lever(80) is bonded to the end of the shock sensing lever. The other side of the first lever is bonded to a fixing portion of a second lever(90). One end of the second lever is combined to a slit(100) formed on the first lever. The other end of the second lever is combined to a first spring(60) installed on the lower end of the outer panel. The lower end of the second lever is connected with the inner panel via a second spring(70) having a restorative force stronger than that of the first spring. When a walker collides to the outer panel, the first lever and the second lever are separated by the counterclockwise rotation of the shock sensing lever. The second lever is rotated clockwise by the strong restorative force of the second spring. The second lever is moved to the left and right, and the outer panel is bent.
