PURPOSE: A shock absorbing apparatus of a vehicle bumper is provided to minimize vehicle damage and a passenger's injury degree by providing a structure capable of absorbing a vibration of a vehicle body in order to disperse a shock generating when a vehicle collides. CONSTITUTION: A bumper shock absorbing apparatus comprises a bumper cover(100) including a shock absorbing material(101), a fixing bracket(210) coupled at an inside of a vehicle frame(200), a coil spring(220), and a bumper bracket(230). The coil spring(220) is inserted into the vehicle frame(200), and supported by the fixing bracket(210). One side of the bumper bracket(230) is connected at the bumper cover(100). The other side thereof is inserted into the vehicle frame(200) and coupled by a bolt(231) having a notch(231a). An end of an opening of the vehicle body is bent. Before colliding the vehicle, the opening of the vehicle body is separated from the bumper bracket(230) in a certain distance. When the vehicle is collided, the bumper bracket(230) is pushed in a backward, and contacted at the opening of the vehicle frame(200).
