PURPOSE: An apparatus for switching a telephone is provided to remove an echo and use a general telephone and an Internet phone. CONSTITUTION: When performing a general telephone conversation through an office line(13), the first switch(6) connects a line-in socket(1) to a line-out socket(2) and disconnects a bridge circuit(8), and the second switch(7) connects a phone-in socket(3) to a handset socket(4) and disconnects a PC socket(5). When performing an Internet phone conversation using an Internet network, the second switch(7) connects the handset socket(5) to the PC socket(5) for performing an Internet conversation, and the first switch(6) disconnects the line-in socket(1) to the line-out socket(2) and connects the line-in socket(1) to the bridge circuit(8) so that the bridge circuit(8) detects a ring signal when the ring signal is inputted from the office line(13) during the Internet conversation and drives a buzzer(10).
