PURPOSE: A method for controlling an emergency parking brake of a vehicle is provided to park the vehicle by using brake liquid pressure controlling function of an anti lock brake system. CONSTITUTION: A device for controlling an emergency parking brake of a vehicle comprises a pedal sensing switch(12) outputting a pedal sensing switching signal by detecting a controlling state of a brake pedal(10); a parking brake button(14) generating a button input signal by being formed on a specific portion of an instrument panel; a logic circuit(16) generating a level output signal by receiving the pedal sensing switching signal and the button input signal; a wheel sensor(18) outputting a wheel sensing signal by detecting a driving state of the wheel; and an electronic control unit(20) changing a hydraulic circuit(28) into a maintaining mode by releasing first and second solenoid valves(24,26).
