REGENERATION EQUIPMENT OF FIBROUS ACTIVATED CARBON AND METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A regeneration equipment of fibrous activated carbon is provided, which can easily restore adsorption efficiency of the activated carbon completely by fully removing oil and harmful matter attached on the surface the carbon. The cartridge is washed with waste NaOH that is discharged from liquid reduction step of dyeing process, thus treating wastewater of NaOH saving the treatment cost. CONSTITUTION: The regeneration equipment comprises No.1 and No.2 washing tanks(3,4), a drying pad(9), a regeneration furnace(5), a steamer(11), an incinerator(6), a heat exchanger(7) and suction and discharge fans(14,16). The washed fibrous activated carbon cartridge is dried at the drying pad(9) and regenerated at the regeneration furnace(5) by steam supplied by the steamer(11) and hot air. The waste gas generated from the regeneration furnace(5) is incinerated at the incinerator(6). Suction air is preheated by the heat exchanger(7) to recover waste heat from flue gas.
