PURPOSE: A pneumatic tire of a vehicle is provided to reduce the weight of a belt by manufacturing the belt with aramid cords and steel cords, and to improve endurance and stiffness by absorbing shock efficiently. CONSTITUTION: A pneumatic tire for a vehicle is composed of a body ply, a belt placed in the upper part of the body ply, a cap ply placed in the upper part of the belt, and a tread part placed in the upper part of the cap ply. The belt consists of complex cords of an aramid cord and a steel cord. The belt is manufactured with twisting 1 to 3 aramid cords of 100-1000 denier and 1-3 steel cords of 0.1-0.5mm with 10-50 TPI(Twist Per Inch). The complex cords are adhesive-coated to stick to rubber. The flexibility is improved, and the impact is absorbed efficiently with adding aramid cords. The endurance is improved with reducing the cut area of the steel cord, and the weight of the tire is reduced with manufacturing the belt by complex cords.
