PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a common mode chock coil which is superior in impedance matching with a balanced transmission line, and to provide a balanced transmission circuit equipped with the choke coil. SOLUTION: The common mode choke coil 1 is constituted of a core 2, made of a magnetic material, a pair of coils 3 and 4, a fixed terminal block 5, matching resistors R1-R4, etc. The matching resistor R1 is electrically connected between electrode patterns 6 and 7 for input, and the matching resistor R2 is electrically connected between the electrode pattern 6 and a relaying electrode pattern 8. The resistors R1 and R2 and the patterns 6, 7, and 8 form an input-side matching resistor circuit network. In addition, the matching resistor R3 is electrically connected between electrode patterns 9 and 10 for output, and the matching resistor R4 is electrically connected between the pattern 10 and a relaying electrode pattern 11. The resistors R3 and R4 and patterns 9, 10, and 11 constitute an output-side matching resistor circuit network.
