The two idler pinions (12,14) are synchronized by associated half-synchronization devices (24a,24b). These devices comprise two truncated outer (26a,26b), intermediate (28a,28b) and interior (30a,30b) synchronization rings which are interposed axially between a fixed central hub (18) and the corresponding idler pinions. The external ring comprises three radial lugs (34a,34b) received in inner ring notches (36a,36b) and located in corresponding hub housings (38a,38b).
