PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively prevent fretting abrasion between a housing and a bearing metal over a long period. SOLUTION: The bearing metal 5 is mounted on an internal surface (an internal surface of the housing) of a first mounting hole 2a of a large end part 2 of a connecting rod. A hard film having hardness >=Hv1000 is formed on a surface having smaller surface roughness of the internal surface of the housing and the internal surface of the bearing metal 5. Wear is surely prevented on the surface covered with the hard film by the hard film having high hardness and difficult to wear over a long period. As for the hard film formed on the surface having smaller surface roughness, also the surface roughness of the hard film itself becomes small according to surface roughness of a surface to be formed and also mating attackability that the hard film itself has becomes small. Therefore, wear resistance in both of the surface covered with the hard film and a surface on a mating side having no hard film formed can be highly maintained over a long period. |
