PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method, which utilize an existing coin-operated locker as a delivery means during the delivery of merchandise in Internet- based sales, etc. SOLUTION: This system is provided with a central control unit 10 and a key management device 20. The unit 10 provides certification on the basis of discrimination information input by an opening/closing demander who demands that the device 20 be opened/closed, makes a section notification provided so as to have the device 20 discriminate prescribed key storage sections on the basis of merchandise information input by the demander, unlocks or locks the prescribed key storage section of the device 20 in response to opening/ closing demand information input by the demander, and determines whether the prescribed receiving time of the stored key expires or not, for the purpose of managing the key of the existing locker. |
