PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prolong the life of an image carrier by reducing the wear of the image carrier in the image forming device of a contact electrifying system and a transfer system. SOLUTION: In the image forming device to perform image forming by uniformly electrifying an image carrier surface by bringing an electrifying member 31 to which voltage is applied into contact with the image carrier 1 by setting a speed difference from the image carrier 1, and forming the electronic latent image of image information by selectively destaticizing an electrified surface, and forming a toner image corresponding to the electronic latent image by a developing device 3 and transferring the toner image to a transfer material P, the speed difference between the image carrier 1 and the electrifying member 31 is changed and controlled. |
