PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure stable ZVS operation. SOLUTION: A composite resonant converter is provided, on the primary side, with a voltage resonant converter and, on the secondary side, with a parallel resonant circuit, and is so constituted that stabilization is implemented by switching frequency control. In the composite resonant converter, an inductance is connected in parallel with the primary winding of an insulating converter transformer. Thus, with respect to current that should flow to a switching element, the margin of ZVS operation range can be expanded. Therefore, even under light load, for example, stable ZVS operation is ensured. |
