PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing device capable of accepting various services such as content reception or the like on condition that personal authentication is executed and that the authentication is accepted. SOLUTION: The personal authentication is executed by collation processing between a template acquired from a personal identification certificate wherein the template which is personal identification data of a user utilizing this information processing device executing processing of content reception or the like is stored, and user input sampling information, by connection to an external server for providing various services such as content delivery or the like, and connection to the external server is executed on condition that the authentication is accepted. The personal identification certificate and a public key certificate are stored in a memory together with link information correlating the personal identification certificate applied at the connection processing time to the server with the public key certificate.
