PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication terminal that can enhance the convenience of a user in a reception state of information such as electronic mail and prevent unnecessary lighting of a backlight so as to reduce waste of power consumption. SOLUTION: In the case that reception of browsing data of electronic mail or a Web site from a network is finished, a control section 100 informs a user about end of reception of the data on the basis of information set to a notice operation setting table storage area 60a by means of lighting control of the backlight of a display section 71 or ringing of a sounder 51 depending on the surrounding lightness detected by a sensor 80 and a current time or the like counted by a timer 100a. |
