FERRULE FOR OPTICAL FIBER CONNECTOR AND STRUCTURE OF OPTICAL FIBER CONNECTOR USING THE FERRULE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical fiber connector ferrule that facilitates and ensures coupling in a part for connecting the end of optical fibers to each other, and also to provide an optical fiber connector structure that employs this ferrule. SOLUTION: This optical fiber connector ferrule unit consists of two ferrules, one that is provided with an optical fiber inserting hole in the optical fiber connector part and the other that is arranged oppositely to the one ferrule on the same axial line. In such a ferrule unit, the front part of the one ferrule is a conical male projected body while that of the other ferrule is a female recessed body equipped with a conical fitting part that is close fitted to the conical male projected part of the one ferrule.
