PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the load of a boosting circuit assembled into a camera controller. SOLUTION: A camera controller is provided with a power feeding system including a power supply system having a battery 1 to supply a power supply voltage and a voltage boosting system including a boosting circuit to boost the power supply voltage, a driving circuit 3 which is composed of transistors Q1 to Q4 to drive an actuator M that is incorporated with a camera and a controlling circuit 4 which applies signal currents to the bases of the transistors Q1 to Q4 to control the operations of the circuit 3. The circuit 3 receives power from the power supply system to drive the actuator M and receives signal currents from the boosting system for the bases of the transistors Q1 and Q2. The controller is also provided with an adjusting circuit 5 which adjusts the signal current level in accordance with the variation in the power supply voltage. The base currents are reduced in accordance with the reduction in the power supply voltage so as to reduce the work load of the circuit 2.
