PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation apparatus which can obtain an operation suitable for personal application when an onboard navigation apparatus is taken off a vehicle. SOLUTION: This apparatus is provided with a GPS receiver 12, a display part 15, a charging table based detection circuit 20 which performs detection with a charging table 22 to determine whether the navigation body 10 is carried on a vehicle or not and an information processor 11 to alter the scale of a map to be shown on the display part 15 based on the output of the detection circuit 20. |
