The present invention relates to a data communication method for a vehicle and an electronic control device and system for a vehicle using the same. According to the method of the invention, vehicle data among control units is transmitted and received inside the vehicle including multiple control units. The method of the invention comprises the steps of: receiving vehicle data; receiving a message authentication value; and performing authentication for the message authentication value received and decoding the vehicle data received using a counter value shared with a control unit of a transmission side, wherein the counter value is valid during the predetermined time section corresponding thereto. |
