<p>A method of introducing an amino group into an organic acid or organic acid ester, which comprises reacting an organic acid salt or ester with ammonia in high-temperature high-pressure water; a method of synthesizing an amino acid or amino acid ester which comprises using that method; and a process for producing an amino acid compound which comprises synthesizing an amino acid or amino acid ester by the synthesis method and purifying and isolating it with an ion-exchange resin.</p> |
