The present invention provides methods of producing non-transgenic tissues or other agricultural products from a transgenic plant or other transgenic organism. Non-transgenic organism parts, for example, are derived from transgenic organisms by expression of sequence-specific DNA cleaving enzymes that excise recombinant polynucleotide constructs from the organism's genome by cleaving the constructs at specific recognition sequences that flank the constructs.
