The method comprises the steps of: receiving on a web platform a plurality of real time bids sent to said platform through the web by a plurality of online bidders; processing said bids to determine in real time the upper bid value received from the online bidders, transmitting said real time upper bid value to a cyberclerk which participates to the live auction and which bids in real time on behalf of the online bidder to which said upper bid value corresponds against the live bidder(s) participating to the live auction. The system enables the processing of the method.
