PURPOSE: Joint reinforcing structure of an A-pillar for a vehicle is provided to prevent a driver from being injured against a joint panel by modifying the joint structure of the lower inner panel and the upper inner panel at a collision. CONSTITUTION: An upper inner A-pillar(10) is combined with a lower inner A-pillar(20) by a bracket. The bracket consists of a first joint plate(31) bent to cover the upper inner A-pillar and the lower inner A-pillar, and a second joint plate(32) connected to the first joint plate to support ends of upper and lower inner A-pillars. The bracket is combined with the joint part of the upper inner A-pillar and the lower inner A-pillar, and composed of a joint gusset(30) including the first joint plate and the second joint plate. Rigidity is improved with covering the joint portion by the joint gusset, and the joint panel is prevented from being moved into the room of the vehicle at a collision. The passenger is protected with deforming the A-pillar by modifying the structure at the collision.
