PURPOSE: A device contact apparatus of a vertical handler is provided to prevent a lead of a device from being transformed in a test process by pressing a contact pin toward the lead of the device at a uniform pressure while a cam surface formed on a cam plate is used. CONSTITUTION: A pair of contact pins are installed in a test unit, and a test is performed while the contact pin is connected to the lead of the device. A pusher(12) is installed at both sides of the contact pin installed in the test unit, capable of rotating. A driving unit(13) is installed near a side of the pusher. A slider(15) moves forward and backward along a guide rail(14), driven by the driving unit. The cam plate(16) closes the pusher according as the slider moves forward and backward, fixed in the slider.
