摘要 <p>Liquid-gas-emulsion (38) flowing up through the treatment column (39) is divided passively and mechanically. An Independent claim is included for corresponding equipment. Oxidant introduced low into the column, is divided by e.g. perforated plates (37) into numerous, individual, liquid-gas emulsion streams. Preferred features: Initially, water pH is adjusted; it is not subsequently re-adjusted in the treatment column by external means. At points along the vertical extent of the column, progress of the oxidative reaction is checked. Neither reactor nor perforated plates have catalytic metal surfaces decomposing oxidant. Over the full vertical extent of the reactor (11) there is no point for addition of chemicals varying pH. Measurement points are included for sample extraction and/or for direct measurement of the course of the oxidation reaction. An adsorber for residual oxidant follows the reactor.</p>
