A broadcast transmitting server comprises separating means for separating one or more broadcasts provided by a broadcast distribution service into broadcast images and broadcast data; data transmitting means for transmitting those broadcast data to a mobile terminal; and distributing means for receiving from the mobile terminal a request for a desired broadcast image decided based on the broadcast data to distribute to the requesting mobile terminal the requested desired broadcast image among the broadcast images as separated by the separating means. The broadcast transmitting server allows even a user who does not have any special television broadcast receiving equipment in his home to utilize a broadcast distribution service of the broadcast transmitting server and view a television program at will by use of the mobile terminal when he is out on the road.
