PURPOSE: A system and a method for managing a car insurance event using a wire/wireless communication network are provided to calculate a premium suitable to a driving characteristic of a driver by accurately reflecting a driving time, a driving distance and a driving position on a calculation of an insurance rate. CONSTITUTION: The system for managing the car insurance event comprises a car management terminal(100) installing to a car(1), exchanging a signal with a GPS(Global Positioning System) satellite(2) and obtaining and managing the driving information of the car, a base station antenna(200) remotely receiving the driving information transferred from the car management terminal, an insurance event management server(300) progressing a series car insurance event management procedure based on the driving information output from the base station antenna, a DB management server(360) and a communication server(350). The DB management server forms a series communication relation with the insurance event management server, extracts the information of the driver, an insurance company, the car driving, the insurance, an accident processing organization and an accident from respective DBs, transfers the extracted information to the insurance event management server. |
