PURPOSE: An education terminal device and a method are provided to supply the frequently updated education data to a user through an ARS(Automatic Response Service) and an Internet and PC communication network without a capacity limitation. CONSTITUTION: The device comprises the education terminal(200) recognizing and coding the recognition tag of a medium, transmitting an intrinsic ID, a password and a recognition code and listening the received information relating to the medium, an ARS subscriber tool(100) carrying out the authentication by receiving the ID, the password and the recognition code and transmitting the information relating to the medium, and a central controller(300) controlling the information processed by the ARS subscriber tool and updating the information. An integrated database(500) stores the control information of the central controller and the information relating to the medium. A data exchange manager(400) manages the information updated by the central controller.
