APPARATUS FOR JOINTING INSERTION MODE REINFORCING STEEL BAR AND METHOD FOR COUPLING THE SAME

PURPOSE: Provided is an apparatus for jointing an insertion mode reinforcing steel bar to increase mechanical strength of a connection between two reinforcing bars and to reduce processes and cost for working the connection of structure. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus comprises a nipple bolt(12) having threaded portions at both sides; sponges(28) having a thickness same to that of steel bars jointed to left and right sides of the bolt(12); a clamping rubber including two clamps(24,26) inclined outside and having curvature identical to outer side of the steel bars for enclosing the sponge; and sleeves(14,16) formed with an inclined side same to the slope of the clamps(24,26) and with threaded portion. The apparatus is completed by inserting the clamps(24,26) into the sleeves(14,16) and coupling the sleeve(14) to the threaded portion onto the nipple bolt(12).
