PURPOSE: A pressure control apparatus of an electric rice cooker is provided to seal exactly a steam-exhausting pipe by increasing a magnetic force generated between a core of an electromagnet and a cap plate. CONSTITUTION: An L shape frame(21) is fixed at an inside of an electric rice cooker lid. A steam-exhausting pipe(22) having a steam-exhausting hole(22a) for exhausting a steam in an oven is fixed at the frame. An electromagnet(23) for generating a magnetic force is fixed to have a certain distance from the steam-exhausting pipe. A cap plate(24) moving by a magnetic force of the electromagnet is installed movably at topside of the electromagnet. A nozzle cap(25) of a cone shape for closing an outlet of the steam exhausting pipe and cutting off a steam leakage is fixed at an end of the cap plate(24). A magnetic path-increasing portion(30) is formed integrally at a top end of the cap plate in order to increase a magnetic force generated between the top end of the core and the cap plate.
